These are the major National Cycle Routes covered by this map:
Pennine Cycleway South [National Route 68] - between Derby and Holmfirth, covering the southerly third of the Derby to Berwick-on-Tweed route.
National Route 6 - between Derby and Sheffield and on into the Peak District National Park
Trans Pennine Trail [National Route 62] - between Hyde, Greater Manchester and Doncaster
Trans Pennine Trail [National Route 67] - between Chesterfield and Barnsley, as well as open sections south of Chesterfield (Five Pits Trail, Nutbrook Trail)
National Route 54 - present open sections include the High Peak and Manifold Trails and Etwall to Ripley via Derby
Tissington Trail [National Route 68] - Ashbourne to Parsley Hay
High Peak Trail [National Route 54] - Middleton Top Visitor Centre to Parsley Hay
Monsal Trail [National Route 680]- Chee Dale to Bakewell
Manifold Trail [National Route 54] - Hulme End to Waterhouses
This map also has 10 detailed inset maps of urban centres which mark recommended routes as well as National Cycle Network routes. These are to help people access the areas around the major urban areas by bike.
The map also includes details of bike shops and cycle hire centres in the area as well as Tourist Information Centres and much other useful information.
