Hampshire is a land of tree-tunnelled sunken lanes, thatched cottages with gardens full of flowers, hazel copses, clear chalk streams and rivers and their network of single-track lanes. Most of the ridiging is on the easy side with few climbs that could be classed as more than moderate. The New Forest is large enough to easily escape the crowds on a bike on one of the many well-signed cycle trails that cross the area.

This map shows 12 circular cycle routes in the area, and includes the National Cycle Network Route 2 along the south coast, as well as parts of Route 24; Route 23; Route 45; Route 22; and Regional Route 89 - The South Downs Way

Traffic-free family cycle rides are also included such as Test Way; the map details local cycle hire centres.

The double-sided, rain resistant surface is clear at an ideal scale for touring of 2 miles to 1 inch/1: 126,720 with altitude layering (contours).  For mountain bike routes please see links below.
