I cycle to work every day in all weathers and I absolutely love my poncho as it really keeps every part of me dry so I no longer arrive at work with a wet sleeve or wet socks. I used to wear waterproof trousers, coat and overshoes, which took ages to put on and always left an exposed bit which inevitably got soaked. The poncho is great as you can put it on over any amount of clothing (it even fits over a backpack) which is especially useful in winter as you can have a thick coat underneath, something which I can’t do if I’m wearing my normal waterproof. It’s very quick to put on: simply pull it over your head and you’re good to go. You do need to remember to put your hands through the straps that are underneath the poncho so that the front bit goes over the handlebars, which in turn means that your arms and hands stay dry.

I thought that it would flap about in the wind because it’s so large, but it seems to just mould over the bike and you, so the wind really isn’t an issue. The hood is great too as you can hide it away if you don’t want to use it.

Generally a great poncho and now an essential part of my biking attire!
